Halloween TV: The Office

The Office has had more Halloween episodes than I remembered.  They've done one almost every year.  OK, the Diwali one was only tangentally Halloween-related, but there was the mix-up where Carol wears a Halloween costume to the Diwali celebration, and if I remember correctly, the episode was included in an all-Halloween lineup the night it aired.

Season 2, Episode 5, 10/18/05

Halloween

While everyone else in the office enjoys the spooky Halloween festivities and talks about the staff's costumes, Michael ponders who he should fire when the threat of downsizing becomes a reality and his boss orders him to fire one of his staff. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam put Dwight's resume on job-searching websites, which may make Michael's job a little easier, and Pam encourages Jim to set his goals higher by applying for a better job, which makes Jim consider his friendship with Pam.

Season 3, Episode 6, 11/2/06

Diwali

It’s Diwali and Michael encourages the entire Scranton branch to support Kelly and attend a local celebration, where Ryan faces Kelly’s family.

Season 5, Episode 5, 10/30/08

Employee Transfer

Michael helps Holly move following her transfer to Nashua, NH. Meanwhile, Pam discovers people at corporate are less enthused about Halloween than she, and Dwight agitates Andrew by applying to Cornell.

Season 7, Episode 6, 10/28/10

Costume Contest

The Dunder Mifflin staff have a Halloween costume contest. Michael’s upset after Darryl gives an idea to corporate without running it by him first. Pam tries to make Danny open up about their dating past.
